Active Investing is a Blue Chip share trading strategy for those who want to be more hands-on and perform their own chart interpretation. It combines fundamental and technical analysis by using
charts to 'Test and Measure' the affect a Company's financial status has on share price movements.
This simple process can turbocharge the performance of under-performing Blue Chip share portfolios.

The weekly ActVest newsletter provides all the information and charts needed to implement the Active Investing strategy. It is a very low cost solution to trading the Australian Stock Market and also includes articles by Alan and other well known authors and share traders. What's more it can be easily adapted for trading derivatives such as CFDs, although issues such as gearing are not covered and should be referred to an appropriately licenced advisor. Active trading is also a 'Trend following' approach just like its big brother Active Investing but with
one key difference. It definitely isn't designed for slow moving Blue Chip shares.
